EASA Secretariat

Routine administration is the responsibility of the EASA Secretariat. Its activities include:

  • liaising with EASA members, EU institutions, industry associations and other interested parties (academics, etc.)
  • keeping EASA’s members informed of and co-ordinating their responses to regulatory developments at EU level
  • organising meetings and events to improve members’ knowledge and encourage best practice
  • co-ordinating and reporting on the cross-border complaints system
  • providing information and training on advertising self-regulation in Europe
  • conducting research and surveys and publishing the results
  • press relations: EASA receives regular coverage in both the national and the European press. It issues press releases and holds press conferences on significant activities of the EASA or its members
