The Code of Practice in Advertising applies to all media.

Complaints handling

CLEP handles complaints only from consumers. Complaints are handled free of charge. Complaints must be submitted in writing, with an explanation of the grounds for the complaint and a description or example of the offending advertisement.

Copy advice/pre-clearance

CLEP provides provides copy advice to members and non-members. CLEP does not carry out pre-clearance.
