Code

The Code of Practice in Advertising applies to all media.

Complaints handling

The RAC Ethical Committee handles complaints from both consumers and competitors. In both cases, complaints are handled free of charge. Complaints must be submitted in writing, with an explanation of the grounds for the complaint and a description or example of the offending advertisement.

Copy advice/pre-clearance

The RAC provides copy advice at any stage of the advertisement's development. The RAC does not pre-clear advertisements.
