The EASA Best Practice Awards is an annual event where awards are given to outstanding advertising self-regulation bodies that have demonstrated best practice in regulating advertising on behalf of the industry in their national market in the previous year. This achievement can be related to all areas of activity of the SRO but must be related to the fulfillment of one of the ten key EASA Charter Commitments which are underpinned by the Best Practice Self-Regulatory Model. Previous winners of the Award are: 2010 Gold Award Silver Award - Ro, Sweden (launch of the SRO's new website)
Bronze Award - ÖWR, Austria (consultation of a number of external stakeholders for the revision of its advertising code)

2009 Gold Award Silver Award - ARPP, France (extensive overhaul of self-regulatory system including creation of independent jury)
Bronze Award - ÖWR, Austria (restructuring of complaints jury to include lay experts)
