Irina joined EASA in 1998, since when she has managed the administration of the secretariat. An experienced finance manager, she handles EASA’s financial reporting and the office’s day-to-day finances; manages logistics for events and publications; maintains sections of the EASA website; and compiles and circulates documentation to the wider EASA membership. She also organises EASA’s central diary and handles external requests for information.

A technically trained graduate of Architectural and Interior Design, Irina’s varied experience gained in roles in the USA and in Brussels makes her an invaluable asset to the EASA team. She works closely with EASA colleagues in Central and Eastern Europe, her Romanian heritage giving her a thorough grounding in the issues at stake in the region. Irina speaks fluent English, French and Romanian.
