1down How to complain?

All self-regulatory organisations handle complaints and most have an online complaints form for your convenience.

Even if the ad you would like to complain about was broadcast by a broadcaster that is not based in your country or if it was published in a newspaper which is also based abroad, you can still send your complaint to your local self-regulatory organisation.

Please always include the following details in your complaint:

  • Where did you see / hear the ad? (For example if your complaint is about an ad in a newspaper, please state the name of the newspaper)
  • When did you see / hear the ad? (date / time)
  • Describe what offended you
  • Try and attach a copy of the ad

If you are not sure to which self-regulatory organisation you should address your complaint to or if your country does not have a SRO you can send your complaint to EASA. The easiest way to do so is by filling out the online complaint form. You can also send your complaint to us by post or fax.

Again please always include as many details as possible in your complaint. See the list above for guidance.
