We’re looking for a Communications Assistant to join our small, friendly team in Brussels. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience, build your portfolio, and contribute to impactful projects.
EASA Alliance is a non-profit organisation that brings together national advertising self-regulatory organisations (SROs) from over 25 countries, industry associations (advertisers, communications agencies, and media) across Europe, and Digital Players. Its main purpose is to promote responsible advertising through effective self-regulation, working closely with EU institutions and other international bodies to ensure ethical advertising.
What You’ll Do:
Working closely with our Senior Communications Officer, your tasks will include:
- Communications and Campaigns
- Shape and disseminate EASA’s newsletter
- Support the launch of EASA’s various initiatives by helping to plan, write, and coordinate campaigns and outreach materials, sometimes in collaboration with our partners
- Graphic Design, Templates & Multimedia
- Create visual assets for social media, publications, newsletters, and events (infographics, templates, short videos, podcast snippets, etc.).
- Design and develop branded internal templates for documents, PowerPoint presentations, and reports to support consistency and professionalism across the organisation.
- Digital Content & Social Media
- Draft engaging posts to grow our social media presence (especially LinkedIn).
- Update and enhance content on our website (WordPress), including news updates and reports
- Event Coordination
- Assist in organising and coordinating key EASA events, including our Biannual Events (Fall 2025 in Berlin & Spring 2026 in Milan) and other meetings hosted in Brussels.
Who We’re Looking For
- You’re a young professional or recent graduate in communications, marketing, design, or a related field. Applicants who graduated in political science/EU affairs or similar fields are also welcome, as long as they can prove a strong interest and some previous experience in communications
- You have a keen eye for design and experience with:
- Graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Canva)
- Document and presentation design (e.g., PowerPoint, branded templates)
- Video/audio editing software
- Website content management (especially WordPress)
- Social media platforms (especially LinkedIn)
- You are structured, well organised and can work both individually and within an international team.
- You’re an EU citizen and with a good working knowledge of English.
- You’re interested in communications and European affairs.
What We Offer
- A paid CIP internship under Belgian law
- A chance to work on meaningful, high-level European initiatives
