Best Practice Self-Regulation Advice
EASA’s experience in developing effective self-regulation and the experience developed while working for a variety of sectors, place EASA in an optimal position to advice sectors that would like to develop self-regulatory initiatives especially as advertising self-regulation is a genuine example of recognised and longstanding effective self-regulation.
For instance,
EASA has actively taken part in the Community of Practice for Better Self- and Co-Regulation, which was set up by the European Commission.
EASA has participated in numerous seminars addressing the issue of setting up a self-regulatory schemes.
EASA has contributed to the preparation of dedicated resources relating to the development of self-regulation such as the first edtions of ICAS‘ International Guide to Developing a Sefl-regulatory Organisation.
