EASA & ICAS Meetings in Milan, hosted by IAP – Thank you for joining us!
28 May 2026
From May 19 to May 21, the EASA network gathered in Milan for the 2026 EASA & ICAS Meetings. A genuine thank you to all of you for attending. We hope you had a great time and enjoyed the discussions.
The first day began with the ICAS Internal Meetings Strategy Session, where members discussed priorities and future directions for the organisation. In the afternoon, discussions continued during the ICAS Global Think Tank Meetings on trusted advertising and self-regulation. We wrapped up the day celebrating ICAS’ 10th anniversary at Velavevodetto, enjoying a memorable evening next to the Duomo, one of Milan’s most iconic locations.
The second day brought EASA and ICAS members together for a series of engaging discussions on the future of advertising self-regulation. Following the host welcome, participants attended the Joint EASA/ICAS Session on self-regulation around the globe with insightful exchanges between self-regulatory leaders from around the world. In the afternoon, the Advertising Industry Roundtable explored some of the most pressing challenges in self-regulation while the EASA Self-Regulatory Committee addressed topics including ad scams, enforcement of SRO decisions and non-alcoholic alternative products. The day concluded with the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Istituto dell’Autodisciplina Pubblicitaria (IAP) at La Triennale, where members and guests gathered to celebrate this milestone.
The third and last day focused on EASA’s governance, policy discussions and forward-looking regulatory debates within the advertising ecosystem. The morning began with the EASA Board Meeting and General Assembly, bringing members together for the renewal of the Board, the election and welcome of its new members, and the review of key priorities and strategic developments for the year ahead and the formal acknowledgement of EIMA as a full member of EASA. This was followed by a series of policy sessions addressing industry challenges, including AI-generated advertising transparency, with contributions from experts as well as discussions on HFSS advertising regulation. The day concluded with a guided visit of the Museo del ‘900 and the EASA Gala Dinner at Terrazza Martini, where we could also celebrate the outstanding careers of José Domingo Gómez Castallo (AUTOCONTROL) and Anders Stenlund (Ro.).
A huge and special thanks to IAP for hosting and organising this joint meetings. These gatherings are vital for sharing knowledge, strengthening collaboration and shaping the future of our work together. See you in Warsaw in October!
