EASA Announces Best Practice Awards 2019 Jury

The European Advertising Standards Alliance (EASA) is delighted to announce the jury for its Best Practice Awards 2019!

The EASA Best Practice awards are organised to highlight the work that self-regulatory organisations have done to develop best practices and raise the profile of self-regulation. The Awards are also intended to promote the advertising self-regulatory system overall. This year’s Awards ceremony will take place at EASA’s Gala Dinner in Stockholm during its Biannual Meetings in October.

News from EASA and its Members - May 2019

May was a busy month for EASA and its members!

On 6 May, the ‘Hands-On Digital’ conference took place at the University of Ghent, Belgium, which included sessions on the latest trends in digital marketing. EASA's Justina Raizyte delivered a presentation to more than 340 students, practitioners and researchers, discussing EASA's work in this area.

The Cyprus Advertising Association held a discussion on 14 May to discuss the topic of influencer marketing, in which EASA presented its work on BPRs for this new form of advertising.

Type of contract: 6-months internship (Convention d’Immersion Professionnelle) with possibility of extension to full-time contract

Advertising self-regulatory body established in Serbia

The newly-established National Association for Ethical Advertising Standards (NAESO) marks the introduction of advertising self-regulation in Serbia. This new body will work in partnership with all Serbian stakeholders in the media market, state institutions, professional associations and international organizations, to promote ethical standards in advertising and marketing communications.
