Ludovic Basset
Ludovic Basset is the Director General of EASA. Before joining EASA, Ludovic Basset led the EU affairs practice of US automaker General Motors. His 20 years of experience in Brussels includes senior leadership roles within European organisations, notably two European sector associations, as well as overseeing the Brussels office of a public affairs consultancy.
Mr. Basset, 48, started his career in academia as a lecturer in European law. He holds several undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Law, International Relations, and Political Science from French and UK universities. A French and Belgian national, he speaks French and English, as well as some German and Greek.

Eloísa López Sánchez
Before joining EASA, Eloísa worked at SAP in Barcelona. She holds a trilingual master’s degree in European and International Business Management organised by three different universities: University of Deusto (Spain), Audencia Business School (France) and the University of Bradford (England). She has graduated in Law from the University of Murcia in Spain, and has done internships in different legal areas in her hometown. She speaks Spanish, English, and intermediate French. She likes to travel, have a drink with her friends and learn new things.

Inés Ollero Candau
Before joining EASA, Inés worked in Chile, Vietnam, and Spain in the areas of business development and relationship building. A few of her professional experiences include work at Tirant Lo Blanch Formación Chile, The Embassy of Spain in Vietnam, Demiusar SL and the Asociación Internacional de Juristas INTER IURIS. Inés holds an MBA in International Business Management from the Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo and ICEX-CECO, a Business and Administration Degree as well as a Law Degree from the Universidad Pablo de Olavide in Spain. Outside of work, you can find Inés at a good concert, doing some kickboxing, or sharing a nice meal with friends. She speaks Spanish, English, and intermediate French.

Alexandre Dérobert
Alexandre is Public Affairs and Policy Manager at EASA, in charge of policy matters and PR vis a vis institutions. He has lived in France, Switzerland, Germany and most recently Belgium, where he has been working in the EU bubble since 2018. Before joining EASA Alexandre has worked for a consultancy, in house and a French Industry association. He loves playing badminton, cooking, skiing and paragliding. He has a certain penchant for sweets, too – but, as he says, who doesn’t. Recently he has been feeling slightly allergic to PCR tests and Covid-related discussions since 2020. Alexandre never gambles, and only drinks on Sundays.

Giulia Bazzano
Giulia joined EASA in 2023. In her role, she implements communication activities and coordinates events. Her responsibilities include managing the online presence of EASA, external communications, content development, and preparation of publications and the newsletter.
Before joining EASA, Giulia worked in the field of communications for NGOs, associations, and think tanks across Europe. A few of her professional experiences include work at a European technology industries association in Brussels, the European Journalism Centre in the Netherlands and the European Council on Foreign Relations in Germany. Giulia holds a master’s degree in Media and Politics from the University of Bologna, and studied abroad as an exchange student in the United States and Sweden.
In her free time, Giulia likes spending time with her friends, doing sports, going to the cinema, concerts and art exhibitions. She speaks Italian, English, and some French.

Delphine Muller
After studying political science and management, Delphine worked for 5 years as Secretary General of a commune in France, running the municipality in partnership with the mayor in all its aspects, administrative, financial and legal. She then took a career break to raise her three children. After moving to Belgium, she returned to work in the private sector as an office manager, first at the Ferme de Froidmont (a work integration organisation) and since December 2019 at EASA. Delphine is in charge of finance, human resources and general administrative follow-up.

Tudor Manda
Tudor joined EASA in 2019 to work on advertising monitoring projects before taking on the coordination of the ad self-regulatory network in Europe. A native of Bucharest, Romania, he is a Cultural Studies graduate from KU Leuven, Belgium, with an academic background in sociology and anthropology from Université Saint-Louis Bruxelles. His previous professional sectors include hospitality and banking, and he is fluent in French, English, Romanian, and Dutch. In his spare time, he loves looking through maps, reading fiction, and baking biscuits.

Orla TWOMEY
Orla Twomey serves as the Chairwoman of EASA and a member of the EASA Executive Committee and Board. She is Chief Executive of the Advertising Standards Authority Ireland and has held this role since January 2016. Prior to that, she served in a number of roles in the ASA including that of the Assistant Chief Executive between 2004 and 2015.
Orla leads corporate strategy and policy, executing multi-faceted programmes at national and European level, particularly those associated with exponential growth in digital marketing. The ASAI is very active within a number of sectors, including influencer marketing, and continues its engagement in a bid to ensure the highest possible standards of advertising in Ireland, regardless of the medium involved.
Orla has also served as Chair of the EASA’s Self-Regulatory Committee and has served on varied Working Groups including Gambling and Online Behavioural Advertising. She was also a member of the Board of Ringsend and District Credit Union between 2012 and 2015.
Orla has a first class honours Bachelor of Business Studies (Hons) degree, with a specialisation in Marketing, from the Institute of Public Administration (IPA), awarded by the National University of Ireland.

Conor has been Director of Regulatory and Public Affairs at egta, the association of television and radio sales houses since 2011. He is the Treasurer of EASA and is a member of the Board of the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance. Prior to joining egta, Conor spent five years working at the European Commission.

Charo FERNANDO MAGARZO
Charo has a Doctorate in Law and has been a professor of Commercial Law at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid for 15 years. She joined the Spanish Advertising Self-regulation organisation (AUTOCONTROL) in 2003. Currently she is Deputy Director General of AUTOCONTROL and the Chair of EASA. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the European Digital Interactive Advertising Alliance (EDAA) and a Director of the Board of Confianza Online (Spanish Online Trust Seal). She is the author of many doctrinal and journal articles on the subject of Intellectual Property, Unfair Commercial Practices and Advertising Law. She has participated in several forums and seminars and is a guest lecturer on various Postgraduate and Master courses including Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM), Instituto de Empresa (IE), University of Alicante (UA) and University of León (ULE).

Angela MILLS WADE
Since 1991, Angela Mills Wade has been the Executive Director of the European Publishers Council (EPC), a high level lobby group of Chairmen and CEOs of leading European media groups delivering a diverse range of journalistically driven news, analysis and entertainment across multiple platforms, bringing print or digital newspapers, magazines, journals, eLearning solutions, books, audio and TV broadcasting to citizens across the EU and globally. Angela holds a number of industry positions including the Chairmanship of the EDAA (European Digital Advertising Alliance) and of the UK’s Publishers’ Content Forum, and the vice-chairmanship of EASA (European Advertising Standards Alliance) and NMC (News Media Coalition). She is also a member of the Boards of the Copyright Hub, and Reporters without Borders UK. During her earlier career Angela worked at the UK Advertising Association, the ITV Companies’ Association, the British Retail Consortium. In 1999 Angela founded Europe Analytica, an independent consultancy company specialising in the media, cultural and creative industries with offices in Brussels, Rotterdam and Oxford. Angela is married with two children and lives in Oxford.
