Are you a creative, driven, and detail-oriented young professional with a passion for communications, design and event planning? Join the European Advertising Standards Alliance (EASA), a dynamic, international not-for-profit organisation at the heart of advertising self-regulation in Europe. 

We’re looking for a Communications Assistant to join our small, friendly team in Brussels. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience, build your portfolio, and contribute to impactful projects. 

EASA Alliance is a non-profit organisation that brings together national advertising self-regulatory organisations (SROs) from over 25 countries, industry associations (advertisers, communications  agencies, and media) across Europe, and Digital Players. Its main purpose is to promote responsible advertising through effective self-regulation, working closely with EU institutions and other international bodies to ensure ethical advertising. 

What You’ll Do: 

Working closely with our Senior Communications Officer, your tasks will include: 

  • Communications and Campaigns 
  1. Shape and disseminate EASA’s newsletter
  2. Support the launch of EASA’s various initiatives by helping to plan, write, and coordinate campaigns and outreach materials, sometimes in collaboration with our partners  
  • Graphic Design, Templates & Multimedia 
  1. Create visual assets for social media, publications, newsletters, and events (infographics, templates, short videos, podcast snippets, etc.). 
  2. Design and develop branded internal templates for documents, PowerPoint presentations, and reports to support consistency and professionalism across the organisation.
  • Digital Content & Social Media 
  1. Draft engaging posts to grow our social media presence (especially LinkedIn).
  2. Update and enhance content on our website (WordPress), including news updates and reports.
  • Event Coordination 
  1. Assist in organising and coordinating key EASA events, including our Biannual Events (Fall 2025 in Berlin & Spring 2026 in Milan) and other meetings hosted in Brussels. 

Who We’re Looking For 

  • You’re a young professional or recent graduate in communications, marketing, design, or a related field. Applicants who graduated in political science/EU affairs or similar fields are also welcome, as long as they can prove a strong interest and some previous experience in communications 
  • You have a keen eye for design and experience with: 
  • Graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Canva) 
  • Document and presentation design (e.g., PowerPoint, branded templates) 
  • Video/audio editing software 
  • Website content management (especially WordPress) 
  • Social media platforms (especially LinkedIn) 
  • You are structured, well organised and can work both individually and within an international team. 
  • You’re an EU citizen and with a good working knowledge of English. 
  • You’re interested in communications and European affairs.
