The main film advertising exclusive agencies subscribe to the new “Code of Ethics on Advertising in Cinema” and entrusts AUTOCONTROL with its control and application

The signing ceremony of the new “Code of Ethics on Advertising in Cinema” subscribed by the main film advertising exclusive agencies in Spain (Movierecord, Discine and 014) and AUTOCONTROL, took place On May 30th in Madrid.
According to the agreement, AUTOCONTROL has been entrusted with the control and application of the Code through its Advertising Jury.
The new text is a renewal of the previous Code dating from 2001 and it refers, in the first place, to the general rules, including a mention of the fact that advertising in cinemas must comply with the law, and it must be loyal, honest and truthful, under the terms developed by AUTOCONTROL’s Advertising Code of Conduct and the Code of Advertising Practice of the International Chamber of Commerce.
