EASA members met in Lisbon at the end of October for the second biannual meetings of 2016. The three-day event, hosted by the Portuguese SRO, ICAP, included meetings of all EASA’s Committees and – most importantly – saw the launch of a new International Council on Ad Self-Regulation.
EASA was also proud to attend the celebration of the 25th anniversary of ICAP. During the event, the SRO launched its new logo and a new name: Auto-Regulação Publicitária, ICAP!
Among the topics discussed was the issue of native advertising, a presentation on the buzz world of digital advertising and an update on ad blocking.
